Terms and Conditions

Parties to the Contract

The company TENIS-CENTRUM HK s.r.o., with its registered office at U Labe 427/1, 500 02 Hradec Králové, registered in the Commercial Register under file number C 30832/KSHK at the Regional Court in Hradec Králové (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”).

The client, as a natural or legal person (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”). These terms and conditions apply generally to all hotel guests and agencies that do not have a separate written service agreement with the Hotel.

Reservation of Accommodation and Services

Reservations for accommodation and other services at the Hotel and confirmation of such reservations by the Hotel can be made in writing, i.e., by email, by phone, via the Hotel’s website, or through an external booking platform (e.g., booking.com).

A reservation is considered valid and binding if the Hotel confirms the reservation in writing, either by email, or through an automated email confirmation generated by the relevant online booking system.

Reservations are completed via credit card payment, credit card verification, or payment of a deposit for the reserved accommodation and services. Individual conditions may apply.

The information stated on the reservation confirmation is binding for both parties.

Prices and Payment Terms

The price is indicated per room per night, including breakfast, unless the guest chooses otherwise. The price of accommodation includes VAT. City tax of 40 CZK per person per night is not included and must be paid on-site.

Cancellation of a confirmed reservation can only be made in writing, i.e., by email. The exact method of cancellation depends on the booking system used.

For reservations made through external providers (e.g., booking.com), cancellations must also be made through that provider following the provider’s required procedure according to the reservation terms.

Changes to a reservation, i.e., transferring booked services to another date, are considered a cancellation of the original reservation and are governed by the same cancellation terms.

Accommodation can be paid in cash, or, if paid by credit or debit card, the amount will be charged in CZK.

According to the law on sales records, the seller is obliged to issue a receipt to the buyer and register the transaction online with the tax authority, or within 48 hours in the event of a technical outage.

The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the Client’s card up to the total amount for the accommodation.

Rights and Obligations of the Client

The Client has the right to use the reserved room and its facilities, as well as the common areas. The Client is responsible for any damage caused in the room and adjacent areas during the stay and agrees to cover any costs for repairs, replacements, or special cleaning, as determined by the Hotel.

The Client must report any defects or issues during their stay to allow the Hotel to address them.

The Client must settle the costs of accommodation services no later than on the day of arrival. Additional hotel services must be paid by the day of departure unless agreed otherwise.

The Client may terminate the contract in accordance with the cancellation policy or if the Hotel fails to provide pre-agreed services corresponding to the hotel’s standard.

Check-in is from 14:00 on the day of arrival. Early check-in is possible only by arrangement with the Hotel.

Check-out is until 10:00 on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible by arrangement and may incur a fee.

The entire Hotel is non-smoking. Violation of this rule and smoking in rooms or hotel premises entitles the Hotel to charge a penalty of 5,000 CZK for cleaning the room or hotel premises. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside the Hotel.

Pets are not allowed.

Rights and Obligations of the Hotel

The Hotel is obliged to provide the Client with accommodation based on pre-agreed services corresponding to the Hotel’s standard.

If the Hotel cannot accommodate the Client based on a confirmed reservation, it must arrange adequate accommodation in another facility.

The Hotel may refuse accommodation if the Guest does not present a valid ID (identity card or passport).

The Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation if the Guest’s clothing or behavior is inappropriate, the Guest is visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if the Guest or their belongings are excessively dirty. The Hotel may also refuse accommodation to guests on a blacklist or those who have not paid for previous services.

Final Provisions

These terms and conditions are effective from June 1, 2025. The Client is obliged to comply with the current terms. The Hotel collects personal data of the Client (see GDPR policy).

Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fee is charged if the reservation is canceled at least 4 days before the guest’s arrival, provided the Hotel receives written notice of cancellation.

  • Cancellation at least 4 days before arrival: no cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation less than 4 days before arrival: 100% of the accommodation price is charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Early termination of an ongoing reservation: 100% of the accommodation price is charged as a cancellation fee.
